climate change review

We went over everything we learned from last week and this week, we talked about bill nye and global warming 101. After we were done that we studied and did what ever we wanted. I am ready for this test and I think I will do well on it, even though I do not agree with many of it. Since we have been on the topic of climate change the class is no longer fun and I do not like talking about the things we do.

climate change

today we finished the bill nye video and discussed climate change. we talked about electric cars and why they haven't been more commonly used. how the gas and car companies don't want them because they will lose money in the short term. I think the idea of electric car is stupid, the time it takes a full charge to go out is way faster then when a tank of gas goes out. so that means more charges, and more charges require more electricity that come from power plats that uses most likely coal or gas to make the electricity. so both are equally as bad for the environment, I also think that we are causing all this climate change is not true. I think the world is going into a heat age and this is maybe the first time we know what is going on. we have not experienced what happens when the world goes into a heat age, we do not know if this is normal or not normal. the ice ages may take thousands of years but the heat ages may not, I do think we aren't helping but I do not think we are the sole reason that the world is heating up.

facts about world leaders

Today in class we talked about half of the countries we did last week. We talked about their main leaders and facts about them. Such as that Angela Merkel is one of the most powerful women in the world. Dilma Rousseff stood up against her country in the 60s and 70s, she was captured and tormented for three years. Xi Jinping is the son of one of the founding fathers of chinas modern government. Francois Hollande had no experience in government before he became Frances president. And how netanyahu has lived in the united states as a child. We still have the other half of the countries we will do Wednesday.

The rest of class we did nothing, some of the guys listened to Christmas music remixes. And that is what we did last mod of Friday :).
